1a. Site View

Beginning the web site

The program opens in the "Site View" setting.

Site View with the default home page

Adding pages to the site:

To add pages to the web site, highlight the "Home" icon, note the down arrow below the "Home Page" icon, this indicates that added pages will be on the second level (Parent) of the site hierarchy.  Click the "New Page" icon on the "Control Bar". You would do the same to add a child level, click on the parent and the child pages will be added below it.  There is an example of this following the next image.

This image shows you the site layout.  You can see that some of the new pages have been named and others are untitled and have their page number.

To name the pages, tab across them. Click on the Custom Names button to set or change the page name for the navigation buttons, banners, and set the file extension for the page (.htm, .html, or .shtml).

From here, you will add sub-pages (children), etc.

Example:         Web site setup - Parent Page with children - properties set for each page - The "SIGs" page is the parent & the pages below it are the children.

To add sub-pages to an individual page, click on the page, then click the add pages tab.

Folders can be dragged and dropped to change their locations. If you delete a folder, this cannot be undone.

Click a page ( example home) to go to the Page View to begin design the site.
