NJPCUG is proud to sponser a growing branch the Senior Citizens Special Interest Group (Senior SIG).  Myles Adler is the SIG Leader assisted by Judy Martin. The Senior SIG is held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 10:30 AM. It began in January of 1999. We gather in the meeting room of the Emerson Public Library, 20 Palisade Avenue, Emerson, New Jersey.  Meetings will run approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

The content of the meetings will be geared to those computer related subjects which are foremost in the minds of senior citizens who may be new to the computing world or who may have been involved in it for some time.  The actual subjects to be discussed from month to month are determined by the participants themselves.  This is not  a classroom type situation, it is a sharing of information where we endeavor to explore subjects of interest to the group utilizing the expertise inherent in its members. From time to time we would anticipate having demonstrations of new computer programs or technologies by NJPCUG members or by software vendors. NJPCUG is a nonprofit organization, which collects a $30 yearly fee from its members. The Senior SIG will be free for the first visit by a newcomer.  We would expect that anyone continuing to attend the SIG to join the NJPCUG at its yearly rate.
