Is your desktop area covered with things that you just can’t seem to keep under control? Are pens, pencils, markers, paperclips, and other items scattered everywhere? Stomp Inc. has the solution to this problem….the ClutterBuster. The ClutterBuster is a clever storage unit that will neatly organize all of these items.

The ClutterBuster, pictured on the right comes with

1 ClutterBuster Housing unit

1 Cup with 3 pockets

2 Half Height Drawers

2 Full Height Drawers

2 Shelves (for CD’s, Post-it notes, etc.)

1 12 month Calendar

Assembly is required; it was very easy to put together. Usually if something has more than two parts, I can’t put it together!

The ClutterBuster attaches to either side of your monitor (flat panels too) or your CPU. You can use one or put one on either side of the monitor. The mounting system should fit most monitors, CPU’s, or filing cabinets. It attaches with adhesive strips that hold it securely in place on the side of the monitor, a hinged bracket that fastens to the flat area on the back on the monitor screen frame, and then another flexible strap that attaches to the top of the monitor. The side panel on the ClutterBuster can be switched to the opposite side to mount the unit on the left side of the monitor. It measures about 3 ½ " wide, 5 " deep, and approximately 14 inches high.

The unit can be arranged in any number of combinations. Both Shelves can be used instead of the drawers, or combine the drawers with one shelf unit, or leave drawers out to store larger items standing up in a drawer section. Whatever style you prefer, you can adapt the components to suit your needs. The top section has two deep compartments and one shallow one. Pens, pencils, marking pens, etc. can all be stored in the deep cups and push pins, thumb tacks, or paperclips can be kept in the shallow front cup. Beneath the cup is a cutout section where the calendar is placed or a picture can be used there instead of the calendar. The shelf units will hold 5 regular jewel cases or if you use Disk Savers (also available from Stomp) like I do, you can fit two of them in each slot. I have mine set up with one shelf unit and the four drawers. I used the second shelf unit on my computer desk shelf to hold other loose CD’s. The panel on the side of the ClutterBuster has two slots that will pens. There are two slots on the top and two on the bottom so that it can accommodate either left or right side mountings.

If you are like me, you have every pen we’ve ever gotten from a trade show or presentation, several of those small, double ended screwdrivers (an absolute necessity for opening up packages!), highlighters, and all the other goodies we have collected and they are all over the computer desktop or stuffed into the coffee cups we get at shows. The ClutterBuster is just what I need…..actually I need several of them to collect and organize the things I can’t live without that are on my desktop! The ClutterBuster has really helped me contain the things that manage to cover my work area. I keep two pens alongside my keyboard that are always falling off or disappearing under the keyboard and now I have them safely tucked away in the two side slots of the ClutterBuster. I can find them when I need them. The same holds true for several CD’s that I use all the time. They are now at my fingertips and I don’t have to go searching for them every time I need them.

For those of you who don’t like to attach things to you monitors or CPU’s, this will also work as a freestanding item (although this was not how it was designed to be used). Visit the Stomp web site to learn more about their products. I use their labeler, Disk Savers, and now the ClutterBuster and recommend them all.
